Ozan AKKOL

Was born in 1979, in Nazilli. His first music education was taken from his father Mehmet Akkol.

In 1990, he entered Hacettepe University, Ankara State Conservatory where he studied violin works with Prof. Dr. Reyyan Başaran. He continued his studies in chamber music with Prof. Dr. Ulvi Yücelen.

He has participated in many violin and chamber music masterclasses and has been a founding member of "İzmir Chamber Orchestra" which he still actively continues his concerts with this ensemble.

He participated as a soloist in Greece tour of İzmir State Symphony Orchestra (in Mykonos, Athens and Thessaloniki) in 2012. He also participated as a soloist in many concerts with Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Anadolu University Symphony Orchestra, İzmir State Symphony Orchestra, Bodrum Chamber Orchestra and Eskişehir Municipality Symphony Orchestra.

Ozan Akkol has been awarded as the 2nd violin group leader of the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra in 2007 and still continues this duty.

The artist performed the first performance of the "Butterfly Lovers" Violin Concerto with İzmir State Symphony Orchestra in 2015 in Turkey. And in 2019, he performed the first performance of Respighi Gregorian Concerto with İzmir State Symphony Orchestra in İzmir, Turkey, as well.
